Huntingdon's girls jr. high hosted a depleted Phillipsburg team at Gobbler's Knob this evening.  Due to injuries Phillipsburg only brought 8 players to the game so the game was played 8v8.  Huntingdon was able to maintain possession for most of the first half, taking 7 shots at the goal but mostly directly at the P-O keeper.  With 3:11 remaining in the first half Julia Foster received the ball in front of the net and was able to get it across to the left side where Natalee Honn put it into the net.  Huntingdon played tough on defense with Ava Miller, Izadore Kazmarski, and Jessica Grove keeping most attempts in front of them and maintaining the scoreless half.  Less than a minute into the second half Aleia Eagle passed the ball up and Katelyn Kyper put the ball into the net to move the score to 2-0.  Three minutes later Aleia Eagle dribbled through the P-O defense and found the back of the net to move the score to 3-0, and then again she did the same thing at the 18 minute mark to set the final score at 4-0.  Even with 8 players on the field Huntingdon was able to control the middle of the field and get the ball into the attacking third to take 17 shots, including shots by Julia Foster, Ava Miller, Harlee Krepps, Gwen Tharp, and Maria Sanchez-Garcia, but none were successful.  .

Molly Millar played the entire game in goal and had 3 saves
