BALD EAGLE AREA JR SR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The HAMS girls soccer team concluded the season by visiting Bald Eagle Area and coming away with a 2-0 win. The game started as the rain moved in making for a wet evening. Huntingdon began well, controlling possession almost right away and moving the ball into the attacking third. Natalee Honn and Harlee Krepps played outside and were both able to get around the corners to serve the ball in front of the net. About mid-way through the first half Aleia Eagle took a corner kick and sent the ball into the middle where Julia Foster passed the ball across the front of the net to the right. Harlee Krepps got it into the goal for a 1-0 lead. BEA was able to get the ball up the field a few times, but Huntingdon maintained possession for most of the half. Reagan Orenshaw, Katelyn Kyper, and Danelya Fortson all had good looks and took shots, but without success. Five minutes into the second half Julia Foster played a ball from a BEA defender and sent it high over the keeper's head and into the net to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. That lead held up as the final score as the Bearcats continued their efforts to maintain possession. Huntingdon took 12 shots in the second half and a total of 18 in the game.
