The girls jr. high soccer team played today at Hollidaysburg and came away on the losing end of a 2-1 decision. Hollidaysburg scored both of their goals in the first half on some long runs attacking our goalie 1v1.  Katelyn Kyper and Ava Miller both had good looks at the net but their shots were just off.  Just before halftime Natalee Honn picked up a loose ball in front of the net and pounded home a goal that brought us back into the game.  Both teams had opportunities and shots at the net in the first half, but neither was able to get the ball into the net.  Early in the second half Aliea Eagle moved the ball up the field with a nice pass to the right where Danelya Fortson had a terrific scoring opportunity, but the Hollidaysburg keeper made a good save and the score remained.  Both teams kept taking shots, but neither was able to score and the game ended at 2-1.  Molly Millar, Huntingdon's keeper, made some impressive saves and played very well, making 12 saves.   

Huntingdon is now 0-2 and plays at Grugan field on Wednesday at 5:30 against Phillipsburg-Osceola.
